INTERSEARCH WORLDWIDE HOLDS "INTERSEARCH ACADEMY" TRAINING PROGRAM FOR CONSULTANTS
The latest installment of InterSearch Academy, a three-day intensive training organized by InterSearch Worldwide on a yearly basis, was held in Ghent, Belgium on March 24-26.
InterSearch Academy aims at developing the international and intercultural focus of InterSearch consultants and researchers and offers training on the successful execution of cross-border executive search assignments, per InterSearch Worldwide's Best Practice rules and guidelines. Every year, the Curriculum of InterSearch Academy is customized, based on the skills and professional experience of the particular participants.
"Our goal is to help InterSearch consultants understand how the globalized workplace offers opportunities for further personal and professional development, and to add value to the service we provide our clients who benefit from common standards and integrated methodologies worldwide" said David Wouters, head of the InterSearch Academy team.
For the first time an innovative incentive was introduced: Academy participants were asked to prepare and present Strategic Marketing Plans for cross-border business development, with the winners for the best plan rewarded with participation in InterSearch Worldwide's next Global Conference, to be held in St.Petersburg, Russia, in May 2011. This year's winning team was led by Payal Mukherjee from InterSearch India. Jyorden Misra, Managing Partner of InterSearch India, commented: "Such programmes at the Academy make InterSearch a stronger and a more cohesive organization and facilitate a better understanding of all our valuable resources."
The InterSearch Academy team is already working on next year’s program.
