InterSearch Worldwide Reports 20% Increase in Cross-Border Business
InterSearch Worldwide, one of the world's leading executive search organizations, reported a 20% increase in the number of cross-border search assignments in 2011 compared to 2010, and almost 70% compared to 2009.
Assignment revenue exceeded the ambitious annual targets set by the InterSearch Board marking InterSearch's second best year ever, slightly lagging behind the organization's record year in 2008, before the global economic crisis.
Cross-border Executive Search is the core business of InterSearch worldwide. Target is to deliver the best talents to Clients with international operations, offering the same high quality standards in over 45 countries thanks to the effective cooperation between consultants from more than one country.
45% of InterSearch's cross-border clients in 2011 were new accounts. Cross-border clients were introduced by InterSearch offices in more than 20 countries mainly in Europe (Italy, Belgium and Germany) and the Americas; an impressive growth in the number of introduced assignments was demonstrated by Brazil and Finland.
InterSearch Consultants from 30 countries participated in the execution of these projects, everywhere with the same high quality standards. Automotive, Capital Equipment, Consumer products/FMCG/Retail, Electronics, Life Sciences lead the industry’s ranking, while the Constructions & Building sector started showing signs of recovery.
